Jakarta

As a graduate student *im sure i'll finish my thesis very soon*, i've planned my life. Where I wanna work, where I wanna live, where I wanna schooled my children so on so on...
Jakarta, as capital city of Indonesia, we knew it, is the first choice for us *job seekers already*. Jakarta like a big magnet to atrract jobseekers, many companies and chances to work available there. Jakarta serves big position, big sallary, good and modern life styles,,,,everyone thinks Jakarta is a damn right place to live and work.

For me? yeah. i never want to live there. I knew maybe i can get high sallary there, i can buy everything i want, but UMR or sallary standard even higher than yogyakarta. Jakarta with its criminalities, slumpy *how to say many slum and unhealthy area?*, the worst damn traffic jams everytime, cant help me to live like a life i dreamed before.

Everything sounds expensive. My friend ever said that, 500K in jakarta she only afford a small boarding house, without bathroom inside. She found her room empty, she need to fulfil by herself. Let's compare it with boarding house in Jogja. With 500k at least you can get an exclusive boarding house, with bathroom inside, even hotspot internet. And sometimes,the owner will serve you a bed, wardrobe and table.

For meal, my friend said she bought a glass of juice in street vendor by 10k. In jogja, you can buy a healthy juice just pay 5k.

In jogjakarta, you can face the traffic jams only in certain street. In jakarta, maybe there is no street *no joke ya*.

I never imagine that i can survive live there. I know, Jakarta is the center of everything. But, should I live and work there? Sometimes, i want it, but sometimes i dont.
My friend ever said that, if you wanna jump for another step of your life, in carreer, you have to try Jakarta. Sounds so scary ya. What if, i have to live there later? what if my dream job puts me there? what if i met my husband in jakarta? what if i have to spend the rest of my life in jakarta? what if.... *im tired of writing many posibilities*.

I always saw in socmed, my friends uploaded their activities during working and weekend in jakarta. midnite they still have a meeting. midnite they still hang out in a georgeus place. Is jakarta is the never sleep city? Oh please, the city that never sleep always for NYC not Jakarta.

Maybe i have to support about a plan to move indonesia capital city to palangkaraya. Sounds great. Or maybe i only wanted to live jakarta if all the corruptors die *whats the correlatin, Res?*

So, Jakarta, would you be my next city?
